Welcome Leonardo Rodriguez, Vice President for APFC

We are thrilled to welcome Leonardo Rodriguez as the Vice President of the American Powerchair Football Confederation!

Leonardo is a Uruguayan sports executive and development professional with more than 25 years of international experience in sports management, institutional development, social inclusion through sport, high-performance operations, and strategic planning.

Throughout his career, he has worked across football, volleyball, and adaptive sports, collaborating with clubs, national federations, Paralympic organizations, and international governing bodies throughout South America and Europe.

His career combines sports management, institutional leadership, project coordination, coach education, and the development of sports organizations in both high-performance and social inclusion settings. He has managed teams and programs, coordinated multidisciplinary projects, and contributed to the growth of clubs, federations, and community-based initiatives. His international experience includes professional work and development in Uruguay, Argentina, Germany, and Brazil, further strengthening his strategic, multicultural, and collaborative perspective.

As Vice President of the American Powerchair Football Confederation (APFC), he is committed to promoting collaboration among member countries, supporting emerging programs, and advancing the growth of Powerchair Football through education, strategic partnerships, and sustainable long-term development.
