We are thrilled to welcome Ignacio Aguilera as the Regional Director of Development for South America of the American Powerchair Football Confederation!
In his role as Regional Director of Development, Ignacio will work closely with our Vice President to establish and grow powerchair football programs throughout South America. He will build relationships with prospective member countries, coordinate introductory clinics, assess the needs of emerging organizations, and collaborate with our Director of Sport on technical and referee training.
Ignacio currently serves as the Sporting Director and Head Coach of Tigres PCF, the founding powerchair football club in Argentina, where he helped launch new club branches nationwide. He is also a qualified Physical Education Teacher and Therapeutic Support Worker specializing in disability care. Throughout his career, he has been involved in numerous projects at the intersection of education, inclusion, and athletic performance.
