The America’s Cup is overseen by the American Powerchair Football Confederation (APFC), the governing body for powerchair football in the Americas, and is sanctioned by the Federation International of Powerchair Football Association (FIPFA), the global governing body for the sport. Six elite teams from across the Americas will compete for a coveted spot in the 2026 World Cup: Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Mexico, Uruguay, and the United States. This highly anticipated event will showcase exceptional displays of skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship from athletes with disabilities.
For those who cannot attend the event in person, the America’s Cup will be available to view live online through the https://www.APFConfederation.org.
